Hi! I’m Nigel, and I run Gardner Films.
I work quietly, blending into the background and working smoothly alongside your photographer. My own life is documented through film. Small moments, travels, and time spent with family and friends are captured so they are never forgotten. That perspective shapes how I approach every wedding I film.
I’m currently planning my own wedding in February 2027,so I totally get how overwhelming it is to have so much choice in suppliers. I absolutely love this job though, and I promise to make things as easy for you as possible.
Filming Across the Cotswolds and Beyond
I’m based in Stroud, in the Cotswolds, and film weddings across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Worcestershire, and throughout the UK. Laura & Damon chose to get married at De Vere Tortworth Court, Gloucestershire in March 2026. This place was majestic!, The sun was out all day and 230 evening guests made for an awesome evening party!

As your videographer at Gardner Films, I stay out of the way and let the day unfold naturally. You won’t need to change your plans for the camera.
I use professional but simple equipment so I can move quietly and film without drawing attention. Your wedding film will feel natural, emotional, and true to the atmosphere of your day.

Coming from a musical background, I have a real passion for capturing audio on the day. That’s why I’m keen to record voices as much as possible - scattering mini interviews throughout my wedding videos really breathes life into the films.
I try to imagine the person watching your film in 20 or 30 years from now. What would make them feel something? Emotion is everything in a wedding day and I’m keen to capture as much of it as I can.
My aim is to deliver professional-quality films without the premium studio price. Your wedding video doesn’t need to cost a fortune, it simply needs to tell your story. So, if you feel any connection to my work then of course I’d love to hear from you!
